-Jute mats may have some natural jute flavor, which is normal.
-If you don’t like this smell, when you get the jute planting mat, please put it out in the sun for a few days, or soak the mat with lukewarm water overnight, to make sure the mats completely wet as well as thoroughly remove remnants of the smell, then drain excess water before use.
-This removes odors while wetting the jute planting mat.
